Municipal Agriculture Office Leads Food Meeting

The Municipal Agriculture Services Office (MASO) spearheaded a Food Security Meeting on September 11, 2025, held at the Municipal Conference Hall.
The meeting aimed to ensure the sufficiency of community production in the locality, eradicate hunger, and address all forms of malnutrition. Sogod Farmers in Vegetables Enterprises Association (FIVE) gathered to assess the current state of food productivity and sustainability in the municipality.
Highlights of the activity included the presentation of feedback and updates on the status of agricultural productivity in Sogod, providing valuable insights that will guide future strategies to strengthen local food security.
Key resource persons present were Mr. Julito Abihay and Mr. Valerio B. Cabalo, who shared their expertise and perspectives in support of the municipality’s agricultural goals.
